This is a red fungus resistant cross made by the Weinbauinstitut Freiburg.
Cross: (Joan Seyve 234-16 X Pinot noir) X (Merzling X (Zarya Severa X St. Laurent))

Requirements to the vineyard site:
Prior is a variety with similar requirements as Pinot noir. Ripening is shortly after Pinot noir.
Spread:
Some plantings in Germany, Belgium and sinc 2017 in France.
Special:
The pulp of the berries is very hard. Resistance against downey mildew and powdery mildew is very good.
Type of wine:
A instensive coloured red wine with a lightly fruity flavour. Rich of tannins.
