Origin:

This is a white fungus resistant cross made by the Weinbauinstitut Freiburg.

Cross:  Cabernet Sauvignon X Bronner

Requirements to the site:

Souvignier gris needs a site which is suitable for Pinot blanc.

Spread:

For the moment not so much because the variety is new. There are plantings in Germany, Netherlands, Italy and France.

Specials:

The resistance agains Downy Mildew is very good and also the resistance to Powdery Mildew is high. In normal years and circumstances no treatments will be necessary.
