This is a red fungus resistant cross made by the Weinbauinstitut Freiburg.

Requirements to the vineyard site:

These are lower then them of Pinot noir, but ripening is only a little bit earlier then Pinot noir.

Spread:

Not much, because the variety is very  new.

Special:

A new variety with a high productivity, big bunches with big berries.

Type of wine:

Fruity, strong, reminging of the father (Dornfelder)
